Due to maintenance, limitations in the functionality of CODE-DE can be expected on Thursday, August 31, from 11:00 to 15:00 (UTC). We apologize for any inconvenience
As a consequence of a ground segment contingency occurred at Matera station, the publication of Sentinel-2 products in the data hubs is temporarily interrupted as of today 11 August. The anomaly is under investigation and the data dissemination is expected to resume by mid of next week.
CODE-DE is the German entry point for the Copernicus data of the Sentinel Satellite Systems and the information products of the Copernicus Services.
A constantly updated data catalog enables to search and access Sentinel Satellite data by area, time of acquisition and other search criteria and to download it. Additionally the platform offers the possibility of online data processing (cloud computing) and makes various software tools available to users.
DLR Raumfahrtmanagement (German Space Administration) offers interested institutions from the earth observation and geo-information sector the opportunity to use processing capacities of the "Copernicus Data and Exploitation Platform - Germany" ( https://code-de.org/ ) free of charge for their own applications until 31st March.2019 . This includes high-performance access to the Copernicus Satellite data as well as on-line data processing capacities, including the provision of dedicated processing resources and storage space.
Within the sope of these application show cases, provided processing environments and the results of the processing may not be used for commercial purposes.
Further information on the procedure can be found at http://www.d-copernicus.de ( see "Aktuelle Meldungen" 12. Juni 2017) and the entire announcement text (as pdf) can be found here. (Both are only available in German!)
